About us

Siliguri Maitri Mhanipa Boudha Sangh is born on 28th August 2005. It is completely a voluntary organisation. We are a Buddhist religious group of mantra chanting. We fallow Dudjom Tersar and Ninthik Chok to practice Buddhist ritual and meditations to vibrate love, peace, wisdom and compassion to all the section of people of our society. We are a society who works to spread the value of Buddhism to all the Buddhists living around and preserve Buddhism as well as to teach the value of human life in the words of Lord Buddha to young generation to spread peace, happiness, harmony and smiles on faces of all in this whole world.​

We not only do religious works but we also help the society by observing all the national festivals like Independence bay, Republic Day, Dr.Ambedkar Birth Anniversary, Environment Day by planting trees, helping the needy sick people, promoting the students by helping them etc.

Seeing our dedicated work towards this society, one of the devotees with a compassionate heart gifted us a piece of land. So we are constructing there a” Dudjom Teaching Learning and Meditation Practice Centre” to fulfil our dream project i.e. to spread love, peace, happiness and harmony to all sectors of people. We have finished two-storied building and we are in full swing to conduct various teaching-learning processes.
At present we have started our last and third floor with tin roof at the top. So we need both of your precious suggestions and financial help or any kind of material as a kind donation to complete our Dudjom Teaching, Learning and meditation Practice centre.
