ABOUT SMMBS

Siliguri Maitri Mhanipa Boudha Sangh is a religious voluntary organisation (Registered Societies- SO172656 of 2010-2011) to teach practice and propagate Buddha Dharma among all classes of people and to spread peace, harmony, happiness. We also do social work by the training on women empowerment, child care.

Our mission is to teach practice and propagate Buddha dharma among all classes of people and to spread peace.harmony and happiness .

OBJECTIVES

Teaching-learning and reading Tibetans language for studying dharma text.
Chanting prayers to benefit all creatures
Awareness programme in different social issues

Siliguri Maitri Mhanipa Boudha Sangh has also started practising Throima Nagmo which provides us an extremely powerful means to cut through the dualistic clinging of mind, the root of suffering thus revealing our inherent wisdom nature. Those who are interested to learn and practice this powerful Troma Nagmo Choid with bell and Choid drum and Tibetian language reading along with important Buddhist prayers and rituals are most welcome.
